Leeds is about to welcome an exciting new venue as Rita’s Beerhall and Ballroom opens its doors tomorrow (6th December), offering a unique day-to-night experience. To mark its grand opening at 12pm, Rita’s is giving away 50 free XXL slices of its signature Big Rita pizza to the first 50 visitors through the door. Claimants will receive a badge on entry, which can be redeemed for a slice that same day.
Located on Woodhouse Lane, Rita’s promises non-stop fun with live music, dancing, and leopard print pool tables around large sociable beer hall tables. The space includes an all-weather beer garden and offers a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy a mix of entertainment, food, and drinks.
Rita’s takes its name from its standout menu items: the 24-inch Big Rita margherita pizza and margarita cocktails available in classic, spicy, strawberry, and slushie varieties.
Rita’s aims to become a central hub for entertainment in Leeds, offering a variety of live performances every day. Guests can enjoy solo artists, duelling pianos, bands, DJs, and even a monthly film club. Big events, from sports finals to reality TV shows, will be screened on the venue’s large displays.
The menu features XXL 24-inch pizzas, available as whole sharers or giant slices. Options include:
- The Big Rita – A classic margherita with fresh basil and pine nut pesto.
- Prosciutto Party – Featuring prosciutto, goat’s cheese, pineapple, and piquanté pepper sauce.
- ‘Ndancing Queen – With spicy ’nduja pork, sweet piquanté pepper, mozzarella, and fresh oregano.
Sides like Stuffed Crust Dippers and indulgent build-your-own sundaes with tequila rose ice cream make for unforgettable dining experiences.
Rita’s cocktail menu stars Casamigos tequila margaritas, including frozen slushie options like a grapefruit-flavoured Paloma. Classic cocktails, homemade shandies, and a global selection of beers round out the drinks menu, ensuring something for everyone.
