Hotel Victoria in Robin Hood’s Bay is hosting a special BBQ event on Friday 15th August from 4pm to 7pm. The celebration highlights the very best local produce against the stunning backdrop of the hotel’s sea-view terrace.
The BBQ menu is a collaboration between Hotel Victoria’s award-winning head chef, Ryan Osborne, and Andrew Radford, butcher at Radford’s in Sleights. Radford’s recently won the Battle of the Butchers competition at the 2025 Great Yorkshire Show for the second year running.
All the meat is sourced locally within North Yorkshire. Diners can expect beef burgers, sausages and lamb kebabs marinated with mint and oregano. There will also be vegetarian options, alongside fresh seasonal salads and vegetable sides, including a mustard and heather-honey dressing inspired by the North York Moors.
Local Whitby duo Acoustic Allsorts will provide live music on the terrace, adding to the relaxed summer atmosphere.

No booking is required. Visitors to Robin Hood’s Bay can simply drop in to enjoy a taste of Yorkshire in one of the area’s most scenic spots.
