Sushi, Satay and Summer Cocktails: The Ivy Asia’s Seasonal Line-Up

This summer, The Ivy Asia is inviting diners to embark on a culinary journey across the continent with its brand-new seasonal menu, A Summer Escape to Asia. Designed to showcase Asian-inspired dishes with bold flavours and fresh ingredients, the new offering brings together eye-catching plates and vibrant cocktails, all served in the restaurant’s signature theatrical style.

Kicking off the experience, guests can try the Kimchi Kakiage – crispy fritters served with a spring onion mayonnaise – or the Barbeque Duck Salad, where hoisin, mango, kaffir lime and mizuna come together for a bright, fresh combination.

Sushi fans are in for a treat, too. The Volcano Roll delivers a rich mix of seared Wagyu beef, fatty tuna and black truffle, while the Prawn Tempura Maki Roll keeps it classic with precise presentation and flavour to match.

The main menu features a mix of small and large plates, built around bold, seasonal ingredients. The Panang Chicken Yakitori brings heat and zest, thanks to lemongrass, ginger, chilli and lime. Meanwhile, the Robata Chicken Satay is a richer affair, featuring a chargrilled half chicken marinated in coconut, ginger, coriander, and lime. For something lighter, the Spinach & Mizuna Salad offers wakame, sesame miso and crispy shiitake mushrooms. There’s also a plant-based standout in the Szechuan Wok Fried Tofu, a layered dish with shimeji mushrooms, choy sum, edamame and curry leaves.

To go alongside the food, The Ivy Asia has teamed up with Casamigos Tequila and Fever-Tree to create a limited-edition cocktail list inspired by the energy and flavours of Asia’s cities. The KL Fusion (£11.50) mixes tequila, pineapple, lime and pink grapefruit soda, topped with coconut and white chocolate mousse. The Tokyo Twist (£13) blends plum, yuzu and lime with matcha cold brew and tonic for a crisp finish. For those after a fruitier serve, the Singapore Summer (£12.50) and Bangkok Sunset (£12.50) offer refreshing mixes with passion fruit, ginger ale, lychee and more. A non-alcoholic Tropical KL Mocktail (£6.50) rounds out the menu with pineapple, citrus, and a tajín rim.

Whether you’re stopping in for a sunny lunch on the terrace or booking an evening escape, The Ivy Asia’s new summer menu offers a bright, flavourful experience with the kind of immersive setting the brand is known for.
