The Bluebell Inn in Rotherham reopened its doors on Wednesday 19th November following a major refurbishment, introducing a fresh look and exciting new features for locals and visitors alike.
The £309,000 investment has transformed the pub, which now operates under a “Two Door Pub” concept. Guests can choose between a lively sports bar, complete with large HD screens, a darts area and a pool table, or a cosy, family-friendly lounge designed for relaxed dining and socialising. The redesign aims to cater to all occasions, offering flexibility for both locals and families.

To mark the reopening, community hero Suzanne, well-known for her charitable work supporting food banks and local fundraising events, poured the first pint. Her contribution to the area has made her a familiar and valued member of the community.
The Bluebell Inn remains a dog-friendly pub with a warm community feel. Guests can enjoy much-loved classic dishes alongside a festive set menu, featuring traditional roast turkey and indulgent desserts such as dark chocolate mint tart. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available.
Throughout the festive season, the pub will host a variety of events for all ages, from children’s activities to lively evenings for adults.

General Manager Harley Dawson said: “At The Bluebell Inn, we’re excited to introduce our distinctive ‘Two Door Pub’ concept to the community. This investment reflects our commitment to creating a space where both locals and visitors can enjoy memorable experiences, whether it’s the thrill of live sports in our vibrant bar or the comfort of relaxing in our inviting family lounge. Every detail of this refurbishment has been carefully considered to cater for a variety of occasions, blending modern style with the warmth of home.”
