Highly acclaimed neighbourhood bistro Bavette, located in Horsforth, Leeds, has announced it will celebrate Bastille Day with an exclusive, one-night-only seasonal set menu.
Available strictly for dinner on Tuesday 14th July 2026, the specially curated menu offers three full courses plus traditional French snacks for £65 per person, offering a premium yet accessible way to mark the French National Day with family and friends.
Widely celebrated for its relaxed, convivial atmosphere where exceptional food and wine are given equal weight, Bavette’s everyday philosophy is heavily seasonally led. For this dedicated celebration, the kitchen team has crafted a menu that honours classic, time-tested French culinary techniques.
The evening will kick off with an array of traditional snacks, including Panisse-Pissaladière and a rich Brandade de Morue Croquette. Guests will then move on to a classic starter of Soupe de Poisson, served traditionally alongside rich rouille, gruyère, and crunchy croutons.
The headline main course for the evening will feature a deeply comforting Daube de Bœuf Provençal, paired alongside fragrant Camargue rice and a classic summer ratatouille. To finish the dining experience in true Southern French style, a delicate Tarte Tropézienne served with fresh market fruits will bring a taste of Provence to West Yorkshire.
As expected from the destination, the bespoke menu will be supported by Bavette’s extensive and meticulously sourced wine list. Curated personally by sommelier and co-founder Clément Cousin, the list proudly champions independent French producers and hidden-gem vineyards. For the complete experience, an expert wine pairing package has been designed to complement the Bastille Day dishes, available for an additional £40 per person.
Due to the limited, single-evening nature of the event, tables are expected to book out rapidly.
