Morrisons has added Yorkshire Pudding Beer from East Yorkshire’s Wicstun Distillery Ltd to its shelves as part of a push to bring more local products to customers.
From 10th October 2025, the beer will be available in four stores: Scarborough, Malton, Bridlington and Beverley.
Wicstun Distillery, based in Market Weighton, was founded in 2021 by Jago and Lisa Packer and became fully licensed in 2022. The family-run business takes inspiration from local places and people, using regional ingredients across its portfolio of spirits and now beer.
Yorkshire Pudding Beer is a light ale at 3.6% ABV, available in both bottles and cans.
Jago Packer, Director at Wicstun, said: “Introducing a beer to our range has been an ambition of mine for a number of years. To be able to share with our customers a smooth, creamy ale with an essence of Yorkshire Pudding we are proud to put our name to. Yorkshire Pudding Beer has opened new opportunities for the business and hopefully will be followed by other products in the coming months.”
The distillery also produces a range of spirits, including gin, rum and vodka. Visitors can explore the Market Weighton site for tours and tasting sessions.
This partnership with Morrisons gives local customers the chance to enjoy a distinctly Yorkshire product while supporting a growing regional business.
