With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, YO! is offering couples, friends and first-date hopefuls a slightly different way to celebrate this February.
The restaurant group has introduced a limited-edition Valentine’s menu, alongside its popular Sushi School experience, giving diners the choice between heart-shaped dishes to share or a hands-on evening learning how to roll their own sushi.
Available for a short time, the Valentine’s menu includes a new heart-shaped salmon tartare, designed to be shared. Diners can also opt for a Valentine’s Tartare Platter, which pairs the dish with salmon nigiri and cucumber maki. The special menu will be served in YO! restaurants nationwide from 10th to 15th February.

For those looking to do more than eat sushi, YO! Sushi School is also running throughout the month. The two-hour group sessions give guests a chance to learn basic knife skills, rolling techniques and a little sushi history, guided by YO!’s chefs.
Each session includes a welcome drink, edamame and gyoza to share, before guests create four sushi rolls of their own, including the Valentine’s tartare. Tickets start from £34.95 per person, with an optional upgrade to include a beer or prosecco.
YO! says the experience is suitable for all skill levels, whether guests are complete beginners or confident sushi fans, making it an easy option for date nights, Galentine’s plans or something a bit different from the usual Valentine’s meal.
Those celebrating at home are not left out either, with a Valentine’s sharer platter also launching in selected Tesco stores.
Bookings for YO! Sushi School can be made online, with limited availability throughout February.
