The enchanting world of LAMMY, a captivating children’s series that made its YouTube debut in September 2023, is making its mark in the children’s entertainment sector, after surpassing one million views in its first few months.
Created by UK based entrepreneurial couple, Matthew and Claudia Hurst, LAMMY is a fun and exciting children’s video series designed to educate children, under the age of four, through the magical world of song and story-telling.
Each three minute episode follows the journey of Lammy Lamb and his two friends, Pup Pup and Bobsie, as they explore, play and learn on their journey of growing up. Having already captured the hearts of many, Lammy Lamb is an endearing character who takes viewers on a journey of song and story-telling in every episode, learning lots of new skills in a fun and exciting way.
The early years of childhood are a significant part in a child’s development and is a time of immense importance and influence. LAMMY embraces this by weaving essential life lessons into each playful episode helping to foster cognitive, social and emotional growth. The series is able to create an environment where learning becomes an inseparable part of having fun, through music, laughter and interaction.
With its vibrant colours and a visually stimulating design, the series introduces a wonderful cast of characters to create excitement amongst its younger audience, while igniting creativity and curiosity.
Speaking on the success of LAMMY and the journey so far, Founder and Creator Matt Hurst said:

“After research into the animation market, we soon spotted it was predominantly dominated with remakes of original nursery rhymes and a lot of the same content, which is why we decided to take matters into our own hands. We launched LAMMY as a fresh take on animation, with original songs and content, and are so happy to see that it is already a fan favourite with over one million views. There’s lots more in the pipeline and we can’t wait for viewers to see what we have in store – this is only just the start!”
