Celebrating 30 years since the release of their iconic album, Giant Steps, The Boo Radleys lit up the main stage ahead of Happy Monday’s headline set.

The crowd went wild when the band brought out one of the album’s greatest songs, Lazarus. According to frontman Simon “Sice” Rowbottom, the track is guaranteed to stir up the crowd. “If there are Boo fans in the audience, it’s always the one they love the most,” he said.

With the crowd well and truly warmed up, it was time for Happy Mondays to take to the stage. The audience was roaring at first sight of legendary band members, Shaun Ryder, Rowette and the king of the maracas Bez.

The renowned Manchester outfit created an incredible atmosphere. Performing some of their biggest hits to an ecstatic crowd.
