Crowne Plaza Leeds is set to open a new own-brand bar and restaurant called TAP. The hotel, managed by Valor Hospitality, has benefited from a huge investment in the new bar as well as upgrades to the hotel entrance and public spaces.
TAP, which is open to the public as well as hotel guests, will be one of the most exciting new spots in Leeds city centre, also offering outdoor seating for relaxed al fresco dining.
Inside, guests will be encouraged to grab a seat around the extended bar, which will feature wine on tap. The specially created TAP pumps (which inspired the bar’s name) are designed to cool the wine to exactly the right temperature for each brand.
The menu elevates bar food, taking inspiration from America with some delicious twists on classic dishes.
The menu includes a range of small and large plates, including loaded waffle fries, chicken wings, steak, burgers, pizzas, and deli sandwiches. There are also several vegan options available, including tomato and walnut farfalle pasta, smoky chipotle chilli and a buddha bowl, ensuring TAP caters to everyone.
The bar will also offer nine different beers on draught, as well as an extensive craft cocktail menu including TAP specialties, such as the TAP Rickey, and Cherry TAPtini, alongside classics like mojitos and martinis.
