Flight Club will launch a new game across all its venues on Friday 14th November. The Social Darts bar asked its followers earlier this year to help shape its next game as part of its tenth birthday celebrations. Hundreds of ideas came in. One idea rose to the top. The team then built it for all 29 venues worldwide.
The result is Limbo. The bar already offers games such as Donkey Derby and Snakes and Ladders. Now it adds a party classic with a darts twist. Players aim to go lower than the score before them. If they fail to go lower or match the score, they lose a life. Three lost lives mean they are out. The last player in the game wins.
John Cook from West Wickham in Bromley sent in the winning idea. The in-house team at Flight Club then designed and developed the game. Ben Morris, Digital Director at Flight Club, commented, “At Flight Club, we’re all about creating unexpected, ridiculous joy, and what’s more joyful than a party classic turned into a competitive darts game?” He said, “We’ve taken the familiar fun of Limbo and injected it with our high-tech Social Darts flavour. It’s a hilarious, fast-paced game that brings out everyone’s competitive side. All our Limbo testers have been instantly hooked. We’re confident it’s going to be a fan favourite, and we can’t wait for our guests worldwide to finally get to play John’s brilliant creation!”
Limbo will be open to play at every Flight Club venue from Friday 14th November.
