Footasylum to Open New Landmark Store in Trinity Leeds

Footasylum has confirmed plans to open a new 12,000 sq ft store in Trinity Leeds next April, marking a major expansion for the footwear and sportswear retailer in the city.

The store will be located on the Lower Ground floor in the unit previously occupied by Superdry, opposite Mango. It builds on the success of Footasylum’s former Core shopping centre store and last year’s popular pop-up at Trinity Leeds. The opening will create 24 jobs and feature a mix of well-known brands alongside Footasylum exclusives, including Monterrain, Forena, Dripmade and Epic Kind.

Shannon Osman, Head of Retail at Footasylum, said, “Leeds has always been a strong market for Footasylum. The response to our pop-up in Trinity last year, and our previous store at The Core, demonstrated clear demand for a bigger, permanent presence in the city, and we’re delighted Trinity provided the right opportunity to do that.”

The new store will bring Footasylum’s social media strategy to life in-store, with a series of events and collaborations with local businesses to celebrate the city’s talent and connect with customers.

This launch forms part of Footasylum’s ongoing UK rollout, following recent openings in Darlington, Bromborough and Bradford. The company is also expanding internationally, with distribution agreements across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and new store plans in the Gulf Cooperation Council region.

“This store represents an important step as we continue our rollout across the UK and beyond,” Osman added. “Investing in high-quality retail spaces remains central to our multi-brand, multi-channel strategy, and we look forward to further openings in the year ahead.”
