To celebrate Sober October, award-winning alcohol-free beer brand Mash Gang is putting a twist on tradition with the UK’s first-ever Swaptober Fest, a booze-free version of the iconic Oktoberfest.
The event will take place on Thursday 16th October, from 5 pm until 10 pm at The Tetley in Leeds, one of the nation’s ancestral homes of brewing. Guests are encouraged to swap an alcoholic drink at the door in exchange for entry, setting the tone for a true alcohol-free celebration.
Revellers can enjoy Mash Gang’s signature Chug, live German oompah music and authentic bratwurst, alongside a series of Bavarian-themed games and challenges. Highlights include MASHkrugstemmen, a spin on the traditional stein-holding competition, where participants can test their strength for a chance to win a year’s supply of Mash Gang.
