New General Manager Joins The Coniston Hotel as Estate Enters Exciting New Chapter

The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa has welcomed Tim O’Sullivan as its new General Manager, marking a significant step forward in its ambition to remain one of Yorkshire’s top destinations.

With over 25 years of experience in UK hospitality, O’Sullivan brings a strong background in strategic growth and guest experience. He joins The Coniston at a key moment, as the estate looks to build on its success and further develop its offering.

O’Sullivan will oversee all areas of the estate, including the award-winning Nàdarra Spa, on-site activities such as off-roading, clay shooting and fishing, and the estate’s three dining venues. His focus will be on refining guest experiences, spotlighting Yorkshire produce, and working with brand partners to keep the estate’s offer fresh and exciting.

Speaking about the role, O’Sullivan said, “I’m thrilled to be joining The Coniston at such a pivotal moment. The estate has a truly unique proposition, from its award-winning spa and breathtaking landscape to its dynamic hospitality and activity offering.”

O’Sullivan’s previous roles include General Manager at Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa and Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, where he led major developments and new concepts. His people-focused leadership style and eye for detail align with The Coniston’s vision for sustainable growth and high-quality service.

His appointment signals a confident move for The Coniston as it continues to evolve and raise the bar for hospitality in the Yorkshire Dales.
