North Yorkshire Water Park has introduced a fresh way to enjoy its adventure-packed site this summer with the launch of ten brand-new camping pods. These pods let visitors stay overnight on-site, turning a day trip into a full holiday experience.
Positioned in front of the park’s lake, the pods come in sizes for two, three, four, or six people. They offer cosy and practical accommodation, perfect whether you’re after a romantic break, a family weekend, or a fun group trip. With nature, activities, and relaxation all within reach, the pods provide a handy base for any kind of getaway.
This latest addition is part of the park’s ongoing investment in enhancing visitor options. The pods meet growing demand for affordable, flexible UK holidays that blend outdoor fun with convenience. Each pod has electricity, lighting, and secure locks, so guests can explore the park worry-free. Facilities include showers, toilets, drinking water, and dedicated parking. Outside, a large grassy area invites visitors to enjoy garden games or a BBQ.
There is plenty to do nearby. Guests can dive into the Ultimate AquaPark, now featuring the Warrior and Wipeout inflatable courses for extra thrills. Families can splash about in the new Unicorn Splash Park. Water sports such as wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, and open water swimming cater to all levels. On dry land, activities like laser tag, axe throwing, archery, ziplining, low ropes, and bushcraft offer plenty of entertainment.
When it’s time to refuel, the Café @ NYWP serves a range of meals, snacks, and drinks with stunning lake views. The menu includes hot dishes, vegan options, and treats for children. The café is open weekdays from 10am to 4pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm, and Sundays 10am to 5pm.
