Oxygen Activeplay has announced two major community partnerships designed to ensure children from low-income families and early years carers have affordable access to active play and healthy meals.
The indoor entertainment operator, which manages 13 activity parks under the Oxygen, RedKangaroo, and Boost banners alongside five Ninja Warrior UK venues, has successfully rolled out the government-backed Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. During the Easter break, the initiative provided over 1,500 children who are eligible for free school meals with four hours of physical activities, enrichment sessions, and a nutritious hot meal across 10 of its parks. Following this rollout, Oxygen is expanding the HAF sessions to more sites in time for the upcoming summer holidays, including specialised sessions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at four venues.

Alongside the holiday scheme, Oxygen has launched a nationwide partnership with Coram PACEY, the early years and childminding professional association. The collaboration gives childminders, nannies, and early years workers an exclusive 25% discount on Toddler Play and Toddler Takeover sessions, including extra adult or child tickets, as well as a 10% discount on all on-site food and drink.
Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Oxygen Activeplay, said:
“Each of our parks lies at the heart of its local community, and we are so proud that we can welcome families and children through our doors, whatever their means. Our mission is to energise the mind, body and soul of every kid on the planet, and the Holiday Activities and Food Programme and our partnership with Coram PACEY are brilliant vehicles to help us make this possible. We’re working hard to make sure we can support even more families during the summer holidays and beyond.”
