Britain’s comfiest premium furniture and homeware brand, Loaf, is opening its tenth Shack (its take on a showroom) in Redbrick, near Leeds, West Yorkshire for October 2023.
Situated in one of the North’s most desirable retail destinations, Redbrick, the new Shack will be Loaf’s largest showroom to date (double the size of their Edinburgh Shack that opened in February 2023). The two floor, 15,500 sq ft, open-plan standalone site is housed in one of the original mill buildings, adjacent to the main shopping complex, and will pay homage to life in the slow lane (it’s a slowroom, not a showroom!).
As well as oodles of Loaf’s signature squish and latest laid-back wares, the Shack will house a mattress testing area, dedicated areas for their modular sofas, sofa beds and beds, plus their largest space to shop its range of homewares (think cushions, tableware, home fragrance, slippers and socks). Customers can expect to find the biggest collection of Loaf product on display including the squidgy new Sloafer range, Shindig and Squishblocks sofas, as well as the new squish-pack designs (Loaf’s version of flat-pack), such as the Brioche sofa and Squisharoo sofa bed.
Table football and retro sweet machines will be on hand for little (and not-so-little) Loafers to enjoy. Or take five in one of the snugs to watch Paddington the movie. It’s a haven for kicking back and relaxing!
Last but certainly not least, customers can find a Biscuit Bar at the front counter where they can enjoy a cuppa and a sweet treat. Or kick back by a built-in fireplace whilst they mull over any design decisions.
