Local businesses in Skipton are preparing for an evening of competition and camaraderie at the Skipton Business Bowling Challenge on Monday, 24th March. Hosted at Matrix Super Bowl, the event will see teams go head-to-head to claim the title of Skipton’s Best Business Bowlers.
The idea stemmed from a post-Christmas bowling night where Discount Sports Skipton’s performance left room for improvement, sparking a friendly challenge among local businesses.
Ruth Eidsforth, the event organiser, said: “It’s all a bit of fun, but we know Skipton businesses are competitive! This is a great chance to bring teams together, meet other local businesses, and enjoy an evening of light-hearted rivalry.”
The competition features two time slots at 6pm and 8pm, with teams of up to eight players taking part. Entry costs £6.80 per person, and businesses are encouraged to register by Friday, 7th March. To sign up, teams should provide their number of players, preferred time slot, and team members’ names if available.
Whether seasoned bowlers or first-timers, participants can expect a fun evening of networking and team-building while supporting the local business community.
