Stockeld Park is preparing for its popular Easter Adventure, running from 28th March to 12th April 2026. The park’s schedule provides a blend of immersive character experiences and classic outdoor play across its woodland setting.
Easter Activities (28th March to 12th April)
The core Easter programme centres on interactive storytelling and traditional hunts. The new Hop Squad immersive trail features four live action characters, including Mari the Chief Storyteller, Daisy the Party Planner, and Daffy the Head Chef. Families can find them in the Enchanted Forest from 10:30 am to 4 pm to complete themed challenges and earn stamps for a reward.
The Easter Bunny will make daily appearances at the Stockeld Theatre at 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm. Additionally, the Enchanted Forest will host a giant egg hunt of oversized, hand-painted eggs, including a new design from the 2025 competition winner. In the Magical Maze, visitors can follow the Easter Around the World trail to explore global traditions, from German egg trees to the Australian Easter Bilby.
Spring Holiday Fun (13th April to 19th April)
Once the specific Easter character events conclude, the park remains open for a week of high energy spring activities. These include Buccaneer Boats on the scenic lake, pedal go karts for children aged 5 and up, and giant outdoor inflatables. The Playhive, one of Europe’s largest indoor play centres covering 20,000 square feet, remains open throughout both periods to provide a weather-proof option for families.
