Where to get the best pizza in Sheffield

Napoli Centro

pizza in sheffield

343 Glossop Rd, Broomhall, Sheffield S10 2HP

Tel: 0114 270 0050

Napoli Centro is a cosy little pizza restaurant in Sheffield’s Broomhill area. Independently owned and a popular choice with students, this snug little eatery serves authentic Neopolitan pizzas and a range of traditional Italian sides. Made from slow-proofed dough and topped with ingredients sourced from Campania, pizzas at Napoli Centro are cooked in under 90 seconds. This short, sharp burst of extreme heat results in a light and airy crust with that slightly charred finish synonymous with Neopolitan style pizza.

The crust here is undeniably good but it’s the fresh ingredients that make it a winner! Worlds apart from your standard takeaway pizzas, theirs are topped with all the deliciously authentic meats, cheeses and vegetables you would expect to find at a traditional pizzeria in Italy, including Calabrian nduja, smoked provola cheese, ricotta, gorgonzola, kalamata olives, porchetta and prosciutto. We particularly like the sound of their ‘Sophia Loren’ which is topped with caramelised red onion, goat’s cheese, smoky pancetta and crushed walnuts (£10.50).
