Caravan in Skipton “Deliberately” Set On Fire In Early Hours Of Sunday Morning

Fire Crews were called to the scene of a fire after a Caravan was set ablaze on Pinhaw Road in Skipton in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A report from the fire service said “2 Skipton crews have dealt with a touring caravan on fire. Caravan and contents were totally destroyed. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, ceiling hooks and a thermal imaging camera. The cause is believed to be deliberate.”

It is speculated that the caravan had been vacant for some time, although details of the causes of the fire are yet to be released. There are no reports that anyone was harmed during this incident.
