Earlier today, Skipton’s Broughton Road was temporarily closed by police after a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The emergency services arrived at the scene, outside the Fire Station, shortly before 4pm. The occupant of the car received no injuries during the collision but the male pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor cuts and bruises.
