Leeds locals are being offered the unique opportunity to get tattooed completely free of charge this Friday, as bar brand Roxy Ball Room partners with local tattoo studio Easy Tiger to celebrate National Tattoo Day with a one-day-only giveaway.
On Friday 17th July, visitors can head to the Easy Tiger studio to choose from a custom sheet of more than 10 exclusive flash designs created specifically for the event. Inspired by games, nightlife, and Roxy’s playful aesthetic, the available artwork will feature iconic symbols of a great night out, including bowling pins, 8-ball pool balls, darts-inspired designs, and cocktails.
The tattoos will be completely free with no prior booking required. Instead, the activation will run on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis throughout the afternoon.
As an added bonus, anyone who gets a tattoo on the day will receive a free Roxy AAA August Pass. The exclusive pass grants the holder unlimited free gaming for the entire month of August at all Roxy Ball Room and Roxy Lanes venues. The pass is valid at all three Leeds locations – Boar Lane, Merrion Street, and The Light – giving locals a full month of free bowling, shuffleboard, pool, and ping pong.
For those who want to skip the needle but still want in on the action, the AAA August Pass will also be available to purchase for £30 at all Roxy venues, offering the same unlimited gaming benefits throughout August.
Originally founded in Leeds back in 2013, Roxy Ball Room helped pioneer the UK’s competitive socialising boom by bringing arcade gaming, drinks, and high-energy entertainment under one roof. To celebrate those Leeds roots, the brand is returning to its home city’s creative community for the collaboration.
The pop-up event will take place at Easy Tiger Tattoo Studio, located in The Annex, Castleton Mill, Castleton Close (LS12 2DS). The event runs from 12pm until 6pm on Friday 17th July. Tattoos are strictly subject to artist capacity, and organisers are advising visitors to arrive early to avoid missing out on an appointment slot.
