5 Best Bottomless Brunches in York

Message your squad, clear your diary and indulge in York’s best free-flowing brunches.

Possibly the best culinary mashup since Pigs-in-Blankets, Bottomless Brunch combines two of life’s greatest triumphs – Brunch & unlimited booze.

But with all the hype, there’s quite a few to choose from. So, if you’re not sure where to head, fear not – our roundup of the best bottomless brunches in York has you covered.

Whether you can’t wait to chink Prosecco over Eggs Benedict or have a hankering for Bloody Mary’s and a hearty breakfast to soothe your post-night out head – keep on reading.

Manahatta – Bottomless Brunch in York

Manahatta Bottomless Brunch in York

Manahatta’s a great spot for a free-flowing brunch.

Not only is it one of Little Stonegate’s most popular haunts, but its free-flowing brunch has been a big hit since day one. And for good reason, we might add.

With a trendy interior and welcoming service, you can enjoy 90 minutes of uncapped brunching. For £29.95 per person, you’ll get unlimited Bloody Marys, a choice of four spritz cocktails, prosecco and Coors Light for the beer drinkers out there.

Within that, you can choose a dish from their brunch menu. On there, you’ll find the likes of stacked pancakes (with toppings like Nutella or Fried Chicken) and Smashed Avocado with Poached eggs to name a couple.

Their free-flowing brunch is available up until 4pm every day, and booking through their website is easy. Want some bottomless action after 4pm? Take advantage of their Bottomless Party package, starting at £32.95 a head.

“Really good bottomless brunch. Our waitress made sure that she kept us topped up with Prosecco for the 90 mins and the service from her was excellent - thank you”

Impossible Wonderbar & Tearooms

Stroll into the heart of York and find Impossible Wonderbar & Tearooms within a stunning Grade II listed building on St Helens Square.

On their brunch menu, you’ll find an eclectic selection of dishes to choose from. Of course, there are the classics like a hearty Full English breakfast or pancakes, but when combined with side dishes like Bratwurst hot dogs, skinny and truffle fries, halloumi and chilli jam it all adds up to a delicious experience.

For 90 minutes you can indulge in free-flowing prosecco, bottles of beer, gin cocktails, white or red wine and even soft drinks are included.

Bottomless brunch at Impossible Wonderbar & Tearooms will set you back £35 per person, but take it from us, with their high standard of food and superior, uncapped drinks – it all amounts to great value.

It’s worth noting that their bottomless brunch offering is only available on either Saturday or Sunday, too.

“We came to Impossible for their bottomless brunch on Saturday for my friend’s hen do, after a very rocky start to our hen do with the minibus not turning up!!
Impossible did not disappoint, the food was gorgeous and staff were all very helpful and friendly, it was a little slow at the start but impossible more than made up for it with more bottles of prosecco and a discount on our bill which was more than generous!

All in all, it was a brilliant afternoon and would definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff for a great experience."

All Bar One - bottomless brunch York

All Bar One’s been in York for a while now and has been popular from day dot.

When it comes to bottomless brunch in York, it’s only natural that their name be thrown into the mix.

And they have an advantage over the others on this roundup – for £30 a head, their free-flowing timeframe lasts half an hour longer than the others in this roundup.

This includes unlimited Prosecco Bloody Mary’s or Mimosas on the drinks side, and brunch staples like Eggs Benedict or Florentine, Avocado on Toast and sweet treats like Belgium Waffles.

An added bonus to the All Bar One experience is its proximity to the mighty York Minster, which means if you’re an out of towner, you’ve got one of the grandest landmarks in Yorkshire to take in while you brunch.

Their Bottomless Brunch is only available at the weekend, though – so make sure you book ahead.

Late to town with my good Lady wife and had to try and find a breakfast venue. All Bar One was rocking with mix of people but good atmosphere and very helpful waitress rustled up the breakfast menus for us.. just before one.

Liked the call to drinks on the menu .. “Brunch is just a sad late breakfast without a cocktail “ but resisted.

Sat near the kitchen and amazed to see what chefs did in such a small place.

Highlights were the fried eggs (best for ages) and sausages.

The Botanist - York bottomless brunch

Bottomless brunch in York is a big deal – and Stonegate Street venue The Botanist knows that better than anyone.

The quirky, floral decor is the hallmark of the Botanist, and just as their style differs from other locations in the city, their brunch menu does, too.

With a thoughtfully compiled menu, you don’t have endless dishes to choose from – but what they lack in quantity, they more than makeup for in quality.

Highlight dishes include their triple-layered French toastie. Yum.

Meatless? No drama. Because they cater for Vegans and Vegetarians, too.

Naturally, 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco is included or you can also get delightful Aperol Spritz.

Bottomless brunch in York at the Botanist costs £27.50, is available Thursday through Sunday and bookings are strongly advised.

I booked the bottomless brunch for our group of 17 and the Botanist did not disappoint.

I booked it all up with the help of Jess, who had to deal with my pathetic organisational skills. A lot of my party arrived late and the staff were great at accommodating us, even moving a few bookings around so that we could keep the table for longer.

I hear of people going for bottomless brunches and finding it a bit of a disappointment as they only refill you whilst you are eating, or are slow to refill - Not here always had a full glass if not two infront of me.

Our waiter (I forget his name, probably something to do with the prosecco) was absolutely great and is a credit to the restaurant.

Jimmy's Rock n Roll Bottomless Brunch in York

Just a 2-minute walk away from York Minster and housed in a stunning listed building is Jimmy’s.

Spanning two floors and boasting a heated courtyard, it’s in the ideal location to refuel with good grub and boozy beverages before exploring the beautiful city of York.

The menu at Jimmy’s is fitting with the rock n roll theme of the restaurant with tasty favourites such as Buttermilk Chicken, Short Rib and Cheesesteak on offer. What they’re best known for locally, however, is their utterly awesome bottomless brunch!

Although they serve brunch all week, their bottomless edition is reserved only for the weekends. The menu features traditional offerings such as the All Day Breakfast and Poached Eggs with Avocado as well as some American classics like pancake stacks and Fried Chicken with Waffles.

Best of all, they have a few desserts available on their brunch menu which are again, in keeping with the USA rock n roll theme.

If you have enough room after your mammoth portion of pancakes or need something sweet after devouring their popular Cheese Burger, their Mississippi Mud Pie is a must-try!
