Few books have had such a lasting legacy as the Harry Potter series. When the novels were first published they quickly became the most successful franchise of recent years – which lead to late night launch events and celebrations all over the world. Then came the subsequent films, which catapulted the franchise even further, making it undoubedtly one of the most iconic series to ever be created.
With that in mind, It’s no surprise that there’s still a vibrant community of avid fans and countless Potter related events up and down the country.

Found near Saltburn in North Yorkshire, one Potter fan has taken things to the next level and created an amazing place to stay, styled on one of the most iconic buildings in the series, Hagrids Hut.
The rustic accommodation is beaming with Potter-inspired character and is a magnificent site – both inside and out; although still has all the mod cons you’d expect from a high end accommodation.
Sleeping 6, the Hut is described “The cottage is configured as three interlocking circular rooms, with squat, medieval-looking turrets and mismatched stained-glass windows as a nod to the gothic demeanour of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Its stooped doorway is lit by lanterns and the cottage is surrounded by fields that lead to views of the Yorkshire coast. Guests can even bring their own Fang, as the cottage is dog-friendly.”
