Speciality coffee roaster and café brand 200 Degrees is helping Yorkshire keep its cool this summer with a fresh new menu and a one-day iced drinks giveaway that’s set to turn heads.
From Tuesday 8th July, customers across the region can enjoy a new range of iced drinks, light bites, sandwiches and sweet treats designed for summer. To mark the launch, 200 Degrees is giving away 200 free iced drinks on Tuesday 22nd July across five of its Yorkshire coffee shops. The first 200 people through the doors on the day can claim a free drink from the new summer range – no catch, no sign-ups, just a cool drink on the house.
The iced drinks menu includes five brand-new options, from the fruity Apple and Elderflower Iced Tea to the Iced Pink Guava Matcha topped with cold foam – a vibrant take on the popular green tea. Senior head barista Alex Slater says the matcha drink is the one to watch:
“We wanted to shake up the matcha game with something new. Strawberry and blueberry have had their moment, but the pink guava version stole the show from the first sip. It’s got just the right balance of sweetness and subtle umami, topped with cold foam for that extra sensory hit.”
Coffee lovers can try a Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold Foam or the Iced Guest Flat White, made with a new single-origin Peruvian bean from producer Jose Guevara. For those skipping the caffeine, there’s the Golden Guava Refresher and more non-coffee options to explore.
Food has had a summer refresh too. New dishes include a Summer Falafel Salad, the Whipped Feta & Roasted Pepper sandwich, a Salami, Mozzarella and Pesto combo, and a Bacon & Brie Croissant. On the sweeter side, new bakes include a Lemon & Pistachio Blondie, Passionfruit Ripple cake and a Vegan Raspberry Bakewell.
The iced drinks giveaway will be live from opening time on Tuesday 22nd July at the following 200 Degrees coffee shops:
