Ritter Sport UK Celebrates 10 Years With a Milestone Event at Leeds HQ

July 2025 marked a significant moment for Ritter Sport UK and Ireland as the German chocolate brand celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special event at its UK headquarters in Leeds.

The journey began in 2015 with a single employee, a car full of chocolate, and a strong belief that a premium square chocolate from Germany could make its mark on the UK confectionery scene. Since then, Ritter Sport has become the fastest-growing block chocolate brand in the UK, valued at £20 million and reaching over fifty million consumers across the UK and Ireland.

The anniversary celebration brought together more than 100 guests, including journalists, influencers, suppliers, and members of the Ritter Sport teams from both the UK and Germany. Fred Sirieix, known from the TV show First Dates, hosted the event. He welcomed guests and led a fireside chat with Benedict Daniels, CEO of Ritter Sport UK.

Benedict Daniels, Managing Director of Ritter Sport UK, said, “This anniversary is about more than chocolate, it’s a celebration of people and passion. Over the last 10 years, our team have created new value for customers and consumers, identifying unmet opportunities to bring the brand to where it is today. From one person and one car to a £20 million brand reaching millions across the UK and Ireland, we’ve stayed true to our square shape and our core values: quality, sustainability, and innovation. And this is just the beginning, we’re ready for the next chapter.”
