Chopstix will open its first York store at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet on Friday 5th September, bringing its fast-growing noodle bar chain to the city.
The opening will feature giveaways for the first customers through the door, including a free medium box for the first 100 visitors and 1,000 free spring rolls. The outlet already has more than 15 restaurants and takeaways, and Chopstix will join them when doors open at 11am.
The new store will create 20 jobs and will open daily from 10.30am until 6pm.

Chopstix serves a mix of takeaway favourites such as Sweet & Sour Chicken and Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chicken, alongside menu staples including Chicken Katsu Curry, Caramel Drizzle Chicken and Firecracker Chicken. Food can also be ordered for delivery or collection through the Chopstix app, website or delivery platforms including UberEats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
The York branch will be Chopstix’s tenth new store of 2025, following recent openings in Leeds, Huddersfield and Hull, as well as a refurbishment in Bridgend. The company now has more than 115 locations across the UK.
