The streets of Leeds will glow once again this October as Light Night Leeds makes its return, and one of the festival’s most popular performers is back.
The internationally renowned Spark! drummers will take to Trinity Leeds on October 22nd and 23rd. Known for their high-energy shows, live music, striking light displays, and theatrical performances, Spark! promise to create a memorable experience for audiences of all ages.
Their performances blend thunderous drumming, LED effects, and interactive theatre. The drummers’ choreographed sequences and playful movement, paired with bursts of vibrant illumination, will transform Trinity Leeds into a glowing stage beneath its iconic glass dome.
Audiences can catch five 20-minute shows each evening, with performances scheduled at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm on both Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd October.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said: “Spark! have always been one of the most popular highlights of Light Night, and we are thrilled to welcome them back. Their performances are bold, energetic, and utterly mesmerising – the perfect match for the unique atmosphere of Trinity Leeds during Light Night. We can’t wait to see them light up the centre once again and share this spectacular showcase with the people of Leeds.”
Light Night Leeds 2025 will take place across the city on October 22nd and 23rd from 6pm to 10pm. This year’s theme, Landmarks, celebrates the city’s historic civic buildings, modern architecture, and public spaces, while encouraging visitors to reflect on their own personal landmarks.
The festival is organised by Leeds City Council and funded by Arts Council England along with city business sponsors.
