Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds has been shortlisted in the Best New Opening category at this year’s R200 Awards, recognising innovation and excellence across the UK restaurant sector.
The annual awards, curated by industry experts and voted for by members of the R200 community, highlight outstanding venues shaping the future of UK dining. Winners will be announced at an exclusive dinner on Monday 24th November 2025.
The Leeds restaurant opened in May 2025 as the first Northern branch of the Cinnamon Collection, founded by celebrated chef Vivek Singh. Known for pioneering modern Indian cuisine, Chef Singh has led the UK culinary scene for more than two decades and is recognised for appearances on Saturday Kitchen and MasterChef, as well as several bestselling cookbooks.

Located in City Square, Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds combines regionally sourced ingredients with the brand’s signature spice-led dishes. Since opening, the venue has received praise for its vibrant interiors, inventive menu and welcoming atmosphere.
