The Swine Bistro Launches Sustainable £30 Three-Course Lunch Menu

If you’re looking for a killer lunch spot in Headingley that doesn’t cost the earth, literally or figuratively, The Swine Bistro just dropped a new three-course menu for £30 that you need to know about.

Husband-and-wife duo Jo and Stu Myers have already landed the bistro a spot in the Good Food Guide’s Top 100, and now they’re bringing that same award-winning energy to the daytime crowd.

What’s really cool about this new menu is the focus on zero-waste. Sous chef Angus Evans (who used to head up the kitchen at Eat Your Greens) is on a mission to make every ingredient work twice as hard. We’re talking about turning leftover Sunday roasties into crisp potato pancakes and using leek tops, the bit everyone usually bins, to make a fresh, zesty relish.

Angus says it best:

“Sustainability has always been integral to how I cook… it’s about using every part of our produce more thoughtfully – repurposing leftovers and turning overlooked ingredients into something genuinely exciting on the plate.”

The dish to watch? The Potato Pancake with Braised Chicken and Walnut Ketchup. It’s basically a masterclass in how “scraps” can actually taste like fine dining.

You can find them right opposite the Arndale Centre on Otley Road. They’re open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, but honestly, for thirty quid, this three-course lunch is the real steal.
