North Yorkshire Water Park is gearing up for the May half-term holidays with the official reopening of its popular Warrior Aqua Park this Saturday, 23rd May 2026.
The reopening means that both the Wipeout and Warrior inflatable courses will be open simultaneously, doubling the park’s water-based obstacle options just in time for the school break. The floating playgrounds feature giant slides, swings, balance beams, and obstacles designed for families, friends, and adrenaline seekers. Alongside the aqua parks, the venue is operating its usual roster of water activities, including stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking.

For visitors preferring land-based activities, the park’s Adventure Wood will be open throughout the holidays, offering archery, axe-throwing, and outdoor laser tag battles. The park’s zipline, climbing wall, and immersive indoor escape and puzzle rooms will also be fully operational. Guests can refuel at the end of the day at the recently refurbished on-site café, Forge Valley Roasters – Waterside, which serves hot meals, drinks, and seasonal treats.
Callum Terrell, General Manager at North Yorkshire Water Park, said:
“We’re excited to welcome everyone back this May half term for a week full of outdoor adventure. With the reopening of the Warrior Aqua Park and the warmer weather on the way, it’s a great chance for families and friends to make the most of the break, get active outdoors and take on something new together as the summer season begins.”
All half-term activities can be secured in advance via the park’s online booking system.
