Italian wine bar and kitchen Veeno has officially confirmed it will open its doors at Northallerton’s Treadmills development on Thursday 15th October 2026.
Run by local franchisee Chris Fernandes, the new venue brings authentic wines sourced directly from the Caruso & Minini family vineyard in Marsala, Sicily, to the town’s former prison site, alongside an Italian menu, cocktails, and guided tasting sessions.
Guests will be able to enjoy the Italian tradition of aperitivo, alongside sharing boards of Italian cheeses and cured meats, Roman-style pinsa, fresh pasta, and traditional desserts like tiramisu and sweet ricotta cannoli.
“It’s exciting to finally have a date to share with Northallerton. We’ve had a fantastic response since announcing Veeno, and the team is looking forward to welcoming people through the doors on 15th October,” said franchisee Chris Fernandes. “Whether it’s a glass of wine after work, a meal with friends or a celebration, we want to create a destination people enjoy coming back to.”
To celebrate the launch, Veeno is giving away a trip to Sicily for two, including a visit to the Caruso & Minini vineyard in Marsala. Entrants can sign up via the venue’s newsletter until 31st October 2026.
Veeno Northallerton is located at Unit 7, Treadmills Leisure Scheme, East Road, Northallerton. Table bookings and wine tasting experiences are now live.
