Organisers of the Leeds Christmas Market have announced two brand-new bar experiences for 2026, bringing a fresh dose of festive cheer to the city centre.
Brought to Leeds by the team behind THOR’S tipi, the market on City Square will feature THOR’S Highland Lodge alongside Folie Ski Bar on Quebec Street, running from 19th November to 23rd December.
THOR’S Highland Lodge will introduce a Scottish-inspired retreat housed in a spacious tipi complete with tartan decor, twinkling lights, and roaring open fires. Designed for gatherings of up to 380 guests (280 inside and 100 outdoors), the lodge will serve Scottish beers, ales, whisky, and Irn-Bru alongside classic mulled wine, boozy hot chocolates, and Kirkstall Brewery beers. The venue will also collaborate with local venues including Bibi’s and Green Room for live music and DJ sets, as well as hosting wreath-making workshops with local florist Basement Blooms.

Over on Quebec Street, Folie Ski Bar offers an alpine-style chalet escape with rustic wooden features, fairy lights, and faux fur throws. With capacity for 180 inside and 50 outside, the bar serves seasonal favourites, Kirkstall Brewery beers, and low-and-no-alcohol drinks, with private snow globe domes available to book for groups of two to ten.
“We’re excited to bring two new bar experiences to Leeds Christmas market this year,” said Amanda Monaghan, Director at THOR’S. “From the lively Scottish spirit of Highland Lodge to the cosy alpine atmosphere at Folie, there’s going to be a spot for everyone to settle in and enjoy drinks by the fire.”
Both venues will open from 11 am to 9 pm Sunday to Tuesday, and 11 am to 11 pm Wednesday to Saturday, between 19th November and 23rd December. Snow globe bookings can be made online at leedschristmas.co.uk/christmasparties.
