It’s no secret that the London housing market is pricey. In fact, there are many areas where properties can reach insane prices in excess of 10s of millions of pounds. Recently, with the general election looming, there’s been a lot of talk about the North-South divide, and what impact the various political parties will have when it comes to shortening it.
With that in mind, we thought it would be an interesting activity, just for a bit of fun, to see what you can get for £1,000,000 in London, vs a number of locations in the North of England, specifically cities found in Yorkshire.
We’re starting off with Bradford, which like London, is an incredibly diverse region. There are many parts of Bradford which vary greatly in affluence and social class. Likewise with London. It’s a big region with lots of different price points. So in the effort of keeping it somewhat fair, we’ve chosen the properties at random.
