Design Tonic Celebrates a Transformative Five Years of Success

Leeds-based commercial interior designers Design Tonic celebrate five years of success since their 2019 launch, with exciting new client projects on board this spring.

Renowned for injecting community, collaboration and cool into office spaces locally and nationally, Design Tonic has also worked across the restaurant, sports, and Leeds indie business sectors, bringing their signature flair to commercial interiors.

Natural growth despite global challenges

Well known for their down-to-earth, hands-on creative approach, this award-winning creative team has bucked the trend towards home working by creating the office of the future – a space full of fun and community as well as genre-defining contemporary style.

Despite launching just before COVID, Design Tonic’s dedicated team – featuring specialist commercial interior designers, project managers, and furniture experts – has grown from 3 to 24 employees over this period.  Their projects bring commercial spaces to life as hubs for socialising and wellbeing, as well as work. Tried and true, their method has brought in a turnover which has skyrocketed to £10 million.

Five Years of Innovation

This Spring, DT are excited to undertake new projects for Goodall Brazier, Caddick Construction and Leeds United.

That goes alongside their recent major project with Goodmove – giving this successful property buying firm an overhaul, with on-trend Crittall glazed multifunctional spaces and contemporary consideration for different working styles.

From rooftop bars and fitness studios, DT’s creative transformations are always considered and clear, but always keep the needs of people at their heart.

Five Years of Fun

DT’s portfolio goes beyond office renovation. From amazing indie legends like Little Bao Boy, North Brewing Co. and Things in Bread, to sports stadium projects for Leeds United, Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire County Cricket Club, to local success stories like Mason’s Gin, Design Tonic always bring innovative, creative style to their clients’ spaces.

Other Stand-out Projects include…

A complete overhaul of Leeds United’s media suite, 30+ boxes and the bar in Elland Road’s iconic South Stand, bringing the crowd atmosphere, and a style edge, to the exclusive Box experience.

Mammoth office overhauls with Mackenzie Stuart, The Property Buying Co. and Knight Frank saw employee wellbeing put front and centre, with yoga studio’s, golf simulators, beer taps, coffee bars and a gym installed, alongside cutting-edge design, to create the perfect contemporary workspace. Curated, connected, communal, and calm.

Historic 12 King Street was another firm favourite; transforming the old Walker Morris building into office space in collaboration with DLA Architects was a proud moment of breathing new life into a landmark building.
