Award-winning garden building manufacturer and leading online retailer, Woodlands Home & Garden Group, announces the launch of the new Tiger Sheds garden building show site in Horsforth, Leeds. The site will showcase its new look garden building collection in an immersive retail display, providing customers with a hands-on experience to help them find their perfect space.
The new show site is at Woodlands DIY Superstore (Station Road, Station Yard, Horsforth LS18 5NZ) and launches on Saturday 9th April with an official opening by rugby league legend, Jamie Peacock MBE at 12.30pm.
Other features of the launch event include a charity raffle with a top prize of a new summerhouse to raise funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity’s Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal. In addition, there will be a chance for a local school to win a brand-new free storage shed, voted for by show site visitors on launch day. Alongside this there will be other activities and promotions to make a visit both fun and engaging.
Woodlands’ Chief Executive Ross Moran said “We wanted to be able to connect with our consumers in a meaningful way and bring Tiger to life. As an online retailer, it is important to cater for those consumers who want to see their garden buildings for themselves, in order to touch and feel the quality and finish. The amazing thing about our garden buildings is they can be used for just about anything from home offices to game rooms, DIY to arts and crafts, or even a gym. But seeing is believing and providing our customers with a true omnichannel experience will enable them to find their perfect space. We have put a lot of thought into the new Horsforth site to help consumers do this – you could say it’s a perfect space to find your perfect space!”
With a heritage dating back to 1913, the business has been helping customers find their perfect space for decades. Tiger sheds and cabins are built from slow-grown, thick-cut, sustainably sourced timber, refined at their own timber mill. With tongue and groove boarding throughout. Tiger sheds are finished with premium TigerFelt® roof covering and a protective TigerSkin® treatment and tested against an 8-point quality check to prove they’re fit to bear the Tiger badge and come with Tiger’s market-leading 20-year guarantee. It’s these high standards that underpin the brand’s message to consumers – Beware of Imitations.
The new show site is part of a wider campaign to promote Tiger Sheds both regionally and across the UK. As well as this new display area, there is a national press campaign and national TV advertising across all ITV channels – together with two unique 100-page brochures and an updated website at tigersheds.com
The new Tiger show site will generate new jobs and is part of Woodlands’ continued business growth, which also includes the recently opened Thornbury manufacturing site in Bradford, West Yorkshire – an investment in excess of £4m to provide a new state of the art facility for the growing log cabin range. The new 32.000 sq. ft factory in Thornbury employs 20, while further expansion in the group’s main West Yorkshire production site at Rodley in Leeds will see an increase of up to 40 new jobs over the coming months.
