Vale of Mowbray, the UK’s number one pork pie brand, is on the lookout this summer for keen bakers to join the production team in baking delicious, mouth-watering pies using the finest cuts of meat and iconic hot water pastry.
To meet summer demands, Vale of Mowbray is recruiting for 30-50 full time staff to strengthen the team producing its staggering 80 million pies every year. New recruits would have the opportunity to get stuck into all aspects of the production process from making and baking to packing pies ready to be sent out.
The Leeming Bar pie maker is initially looking to take on staff for a 6-week basis with permanent roles available after this period and with lots of exciting new product development projects in the pipeline, it’s an excellent time to join the company.
Ideal candidates will share Vale of Mowbray’s passion for high quality food and tasty pies and can expect some brilliant staff perks including discounted pies, free lunch days, weekend working paid at 1.5x and more! Awareness of food safety is advantageous, but training will also be provided.
