Ilkley Food & Drink Festival

Ilkley Food & Drink Festival will take place over the weekend of 14th–15th June, bringing a full weekend of food, drink, and entertainment to East Holmes Field. Set against the backdrop of the Ilkley Moor, the festival will offer a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with something for all ages to enjoy.

Visitors will be able to explore a wide selection of international street food, with traders serving up flavours from across the globe. There will also be a bustling artisan market featuring handmade fudge, rich brownies, gourmet cheese, cured meats, and other locally produced treats.

The drinks scene will be just as varied, with eight independent bars pouring everything from craft beer and cocktails to freshly made juices and smoothies. Colourful deck chairs and open green space will offer plenty of room to unwind while taking it all in.

A full programme of live chef demos is planned across the weekend, hosted in collaboration with Zest Charity and Leeds Cookery School. Local chefs will share recipes, tips and stories while cooking live on stage, with each session focusing on different ingredients and styles of cooking.

Live music will run throughout both days, featuring over 25 acts spanning jazz, soul, pop, indie and more. Families can enjoy regular performances in the entertainment arena, including magicians, comedians and interactive shows every hour. Kids will also have access to a dedicated play area with inflatables, a funfair, arts and crafts, and the ever-popular Magic Matt show.

In addition to the food and fun, the festival will continue its long-standing support of Mind in Bradford, raising funds for mental health support. There will also be a wellbeing zone with stalls, talks and activities focused on healthy living, self-care and community support.

Harrogate Food & Drink Festival

The Harrogate Food & Drink Festival is back for not one, but two weekends in 2025, running from June 28–29 at The Stray in Harrogate and August 23–25 at Ripley Castle. It brings together some of the UK’s best street food vendors, serving up a fantastic mix of flavours to enjoy outdoors. Event partner, Yorkshire Food Guide, will be hosting free chef demonstrations throughout the weekends, giving visitors a chance to watch and learn. Kids can also get involved with fun cooking classes, making everything from cheese scones to fizzy cocktails and pizza.

The festival’s artisan markets will be packed with top producers like The Great British Cheese Company, The Yorkshire Kitchen, Nine Tines Vodka, Volcano Cookies, and Bronte Drinks Limited, plus handmade crafts, art, and gifts. To keep the atmosphere lively, there will be live entertainment on stage featuring hypnotists, magicians, and family-friendly comedians. The Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival is back this summer under new management, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest and best one yet. Taking over Skipton’s Aireville Park, the UK’s largest ticketed food festival is set to bring an incredible weekend of eats, drinks, and entertainment. Expect a star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs, including James Martin, Simon Rimmer, and Rosemary Shrager, plus hundreds of top-notch food and drink producers from across the country.

New for 2025, the festival will feature the Great British Bake Off cookery tent, where past contestants will show off their baking skills live on stage. But it’s not just about food. This year also brings a full-on musical extravaganza, with the Limelight Orchestra performing Ibiza Proms, blending iconic dance tracks with live orchestration. There’s also a stacked live music lineup including The Feeling, Sister Sledge, Tony Christie, Keala Settle, and Go West.

With hundreds of free foodie masterclasses, hands-on workshops, and loads of family-friendly fun, it’s the perfect weekend for foodies and families.

Temple Newsam Food Festival

If you’re looking for a food festival in a stunning location, then this one’s for you! Hosted by the same expert event organisers as the brilliant Ilkley Food & Drink and Harrogate Food & Drink festivals, this brand new two-day foodie fest will be hosted in the grounds of the beautiful Temple Newsam estate.

Expect a superb line up of well-known chefs, engaging cookery demonstrations, a vast array of specially selected street food vendors serving up internationally inspired delights, a full ale house in partnership with Vocation Brewery, plus live entertainment for the duration.

Planning to take the kids to the Temple Newsam Food & Drink Festival? There will be plenty to keep little ones entertained, including a fun fair, inflatables, roaming comedy acts, and numerous free activities.
