Popeyes® UK has announced the launch of its newest restaurant in Bradford, bringing its renowned Louisiana-style fried chicken to The Broadway Shopping Centre. The grand opening is set for 11am on Friday, 14th February 2025.
Marking its sixth location in Yorkshire and 69th nationwide, Popeyes® will celebrate the occasion with giveaways and entertainment, allowing locals to enjoy its famous New Orleans hospitality. The first three customers in the queue will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a year*, while the first 100 visitors will receive a complimentary Chicken Sandwich, exclusive merchandise, and live entertainment from The Brass Funkeys, a New Orleans-inspired band.
At previous Yorkshire openings in Gildersome and Wakefield, fans queued around the block to be among the first to try the legendary Chicken Sandwich. Popeyes® is encouraging customers to arrive early to avoid missing out on the launch day giveaways.
From 14th February, customers in Bradford can indulge in the full Popeyes® menu, including the brand’s signature Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ flavours. All chicken is halal certified, marinated for 12 hours in Popeyes®’ unique blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, and hand-breaded to achieve its signature ‘shatter crunch.’ Side options include Biscuits and Cajun Gravy.
The restaurant will also introduce Popeyes® breakfast menu, available from 8am starting Saturday, 15th February. The menu features British breakfast favourites with a Louisiana twist, including the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns, and Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits. A special Breakfast Meal Deal, featuring a Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown, and a drink for just £1.99, will be available exclusively through the Popeyes® UK app.

The new Bradford restaurant will be located at The Broadway Shopping Centre, BD1 1EY, and will bring 80 new jobs to the local area. The venue will feature 72 indoor seats, 12 outdoor seats, self-service kiosks, and collection points for online orders placed via the Popeyes® UK website or app.
