Subway has expanded its UK menu with a new seasonal range centred around slow-cooked barbecue options, alongside high-profile additions to its side dish and bakery sections.
The fast-food chain has introduced BBQ Pulled Pork to its restaurants nationwide. The new protein option features pork that has been slow-cooked for six hours in a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce. Select branches will also offer a plant-based alternative called BBQ Pulled Plant Protein to cater to vegetarian and vegan diets. Both items can be ordered across the brand’s standard formats, including 6-inch and Footlong sandwiches, wraps, salads, and on its “Spudway” baked potatoes.
Alongside the barbecue range, the business has introduced the Chicken Nacho Ranch, which combines rotisserie-style chicken with crushed Doritos tortilla chips, double mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and a new buttermilk ranch sauce. A traditional creamy coleslaw has also joined the menu as a standard side dish or a meal-deal substitution.

The brand’s bakery section has also been updated with three new cookie options. The Oreo Cookie Cup features a soft-baked cookie filled with vanilla cream and crushed Oreo pieces, while the Salted Caramel Brownie Cookie offers a hybrid chocolate brownie and cookie blend with sweet and salty caramel. For group snacking, the new Mini Cookies provide a portable, bite-sized option served alongside a separate caramel dipping sauce.
The seasonal menu roll-out is backed by a limited-time digital promotion. Subway Rewards members can claim a 30% discount on any 6-inch or Footlong sandwich ordered through the brand’s official mobile app.
Cathy Goodwin, Director of Culinary & Innovation at Subway EMEA, said:
“We’re thrilled to be turning up the flavour on the Subway menu this summer with our new BBQ Pulled Pork, delivering a smoky, slow-cooked BBQ taste that works perfectly across Subs, wraps, salads or on a Spudway jacket potato. Alongside this, we’re expanding our range of freshly baked cookies with three new additions… giving fans even more reasons to treat themselves this summer.”
