The Brotherhood Unveils Stunning Makeover and Tempting New Menu for 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Brotherhood, a pioneer in the UK sports bar scene, is gearing up to mark its remarkable 10-year milestone with a £500k investment into the reinvention of its New Briggate venue. Since its establishment in 2014, The Brotherhood has been synonymous with redefining the sports bar culture, focusing on great sports, great drinks, and great people.

Teaming up with AXI Interior Design, the two-floor venue has undergone a spectacular transformation into a warm and inviting space reminiscent of a vintage gentleman’s club, adorned with retro sporting nods. The main hall blends traditional British elements with modern touches, featuring deep-toned leather to create a rustic charm. The bar area, adorned with vintage sports memorabilia, exudes a laid-back and inviting feel.

Secret Snug and Gaming Delights

The upstairs bar offers a more intimate setting with low ceilings, timber beams, rugs, and a large bookcase. The venue now boasts a striking private dining area designed for birthdays, VIP meetings, and special occasions. A hidden door leads to a secret snug, available for hire for smaller parties, featuring Xbox competitions, pool, and beer pong.

The makeover includes an impressive audiovisual set-up with several huge screens, new lighting, and a powerful sound system. Guests seeking alternative sporting commentary can request headphones from the bar. Brotherhood ensures a confident venue with numerous viewing areas for an excellent vantage point of all the sporting action.

New Culinary Heights and Unique Cocktails

Seema Dhiman, The Brotherhood’s female bar owner, is set to unveil a new food and drink menu inspired by iconic sporting legends and events. The First XI cocktail collection features classics like Negroni and Long Island Iced Tea. The Scout Report menu pays homage to horse racing with original creations like Diego’s Double and the Black Ball Finish.

The Legends menu offers spirited concoctions, from the refreshing Bramble by Dick Bradsell to the boozy Straight up Punch inspired by local legend Samantha Fish. The Corkers collection showcases exceptional wines and bubbles, with a non-contact range offering tasty alcohol-free alternatives. A limited line of drinks in collaboration with Hedonist Drinks, including coffee tequila, great gin, and spiced rum, will also be available.

Golden Year for Sports Fans

As The Brotherhood celebrates its 10th year, guests can indulge in a selection of comfort food, including classic Club Sandwich, Fish Finger Butty, and famous wings, burgers, and bar snacks. Competitive eaters can take on the Meaty Challenge—50 original chicken wings in 20 minutes—for a chance to have their photo added to the hall of fame and their bill shredded.

With a golden year in the world of sports ahead, including the Euros, the Six Nations, Fury Vs Usyk, and the Super Bowl, The Brotherhood is poised to be the go-to spot for sports enthusiasts. Seema Dhiman expressed her excitement about the next chapter, stating, “It’s been a fantastic 10 years, and I am really excited about the next chapter and era; we have got fabulous plans, and I believe I have created a superb environment for all Yorkshire sports fans.”

The new look bar is set to reopen on Friday, February 2nd, with bookings now open. Don’t miss out on the exciting fusion of sports, ambiance, and culinary delights at The Brotherhood.
