The Ivy Collection has launched a limited-edition “Cool Britannia” menu to celebrate three decades since the 1990s cultural movement. Running from 2nd September until 3rd November 2026, the menu pays tribute to the era’s music, art, and fashion, as well as The Ivy’s status as a central gathering place for the figures who defined the decade.
Available on weekdays and Sundays during lunch and early evening hours, guests can order two courses for £19.96 – a direct nod to the peak year of the Cool Britannia movement – with an option to add dessert for £8.95.
Starters include Glazed Onion Soup, Gratinated Halloumi, Kiln-roast Salmon Rillette, and Grilled Robata Chicken Skewers topped with Bang Bang peanut sauce. The skewers offer a modern interpretation of the restaurant’s famous Bang Bang Chicken, which first debuted on The Ivy’s menu in the 1990s.
Mains feature 90’s Coconut Curry, Salmon Linguine, Chicken Supreme, or a Minute Steak available for a £4.95 supplement. The dessert lineup includes Sticky Toffee Pudding, Best of British Mature Cheddar, Mango Vanilla Sponge, and the Platinum Sundae.
To accompany the menu, The Ivy has collaborated with Cointreau to create two themed cocktails: the Champagne Supernova (£12.50) and the Spice Girls (£13.50), which blends Cointreau Spicy, gin, rhubarb, hot honey, and cranberry.
“Cool Britannia was a defining moment for British culture, and The Ivy has always been woven into that story,” said Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection. “Whether you remember the original movement or are discovering it for the first time, we hope the menu captures the optimism, creativity and confidence that made the era so memorable.”
