5 of The Best Carveries in Leeds

Looking for carveries in Leeds? The Sunday roast is quintessentially British and probably the only meal, besides Christmas dinner, that many people across the UK tuck into on a specific day without fail. It’s by far one of my favourite meals. I have fond memories of Sunday dinners with family during childhood and it was the meal my husband and I chose to provide for our wedding guests. Slices of succulent meat, crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables and lashings of thick gravy – it doesn’t get much better than that. Gone are the days when the weekly family meal was cooked by another female in the family! Now it’s my turn to knock out a full roast each weekend and, as I have an 8-year-old with a passion for roasties, it’s a meal I try to deliver consistently. Sometimes, like many others I’m sure, the thought of spending half my Sunday in the kitchen fills me with dread. In a bid to avoid disappointing my son and depriving him of his weekly roast potato fix, we occasionally go out for our Sunday roast.

It’s no secret that Leeds is home to a plethora of excellent eateries serving all types of cuisine. Deciding where to eat can be an insurmountable task with so much on offer. In this article, we’re making your Sundays a little easier by sharing with you some of the best carveries in Leeds. They vary considerably in price and in portion sizes but there are some really great establishments on here that will provide you with quality, homecooked food so you can take a break from the kitchen.
