Riverside Campsite is the closest campsite to Malham Cove as it’s situated in a field beside it. A family run campsite on the grounds of a working farm, it’s family friendly and perfectly positioned for those whose main reason for visiting the Yorkshire Dales is to visit the beautiful landmark.
This site is just a 2-minute walk away from Malham village with its country pubs and cosy cafes. Town End Farm shop is just a couple of miles away and is packed with superb Yorkshire produce such as those essential camping breakfast provisions. Kettlewell Camping

Seated on the edge of Kettlewell village and offering spectacular views across the Upper Wharfedale valley, Kettlewell Camping is a family run campsite in a wonderful location. Perfectly rural with just the pretty village of Kettlewell within walking distance, it’s perfect for those who really want to escape from the hustle and bustle of town and city life.
In the village, there’s a convenience store, three pubs, a bistro, an ice cream parlour and a children’s play area.
On the campsite itself, there’s a new facilities building with underfloor heating in the showers, a pot washing room, a family / disabled room and a communal fridge freezer. Prices for camping are £10 per night for adults, £4 for children, £5 for cars and £5 for electric hook-up. Dogs are allowed so long as they are kept on a lead and owners tidy up after them.
Wharfe Camp

Wharfe Camp is a quiet, adults-only campsite on the edge of Kettlewell. Again, this site boasts stunning scenery and with it only accepting bookings from solo travellers or couples, it’s the perfect option for those who really value the tranquillity of the countryside.
On the site there are showers, toilets, washing up facilities and electric hookups and the village of Kettlewell is just a short and scenic stroll away. This is an intimate site with just 5 pitches available; priced at £25 per night.
Wharfe Camp also boasts a number of glamping pods. Available for a minimum of two nights, they are priced from £75. Each pod has a heater, double bed, linen and towels, toaster, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a double hob. Each pod also has its own decking area with a table and chairs plus a parking space alongside.

Cragg Hill Farm is a Yorkshire Dales campsite in Horton in Ribblesdale. Just 1 mile from the local railway station and within reasonable proximity to both Malham Cove and the three peaks, it’s ideal for walkers and explorers. The market town of Settle is also just 7 miles away and there are a couple of pubs within walking distance.
On the site there are essential facilities like showers, toilets and washing up areas but overall it’s a very rustic site offering a true Yorkshire Dales experience. The spacious large field provides ample room for children to run around and the river to the rear of the site is perfect for little feet to paddle in.
