Cravendale Delivers Festive Surprises and Christmas Joy to Leeds Schoolchildren

This Christmas, Arla and Magic Breakfast united again to spread Christmas joy during the charity’s annual Magic Makers initiative.

This year, the Leeds based dairy cooperative sent volunteers to the Co-op Academy Nightingale Primary School in Leeds to sprinkle a little festive cheer into cereal bowls. From donating various toys, games and of course Arla milk, Arla’s elves helped children start their day, not just with breakfast, but with a special surprise.

Arla and Magic Breakfast, a charity aiming to end hunger as a barrier to education in schools through the provision of healthy breakfasts, have worked together since 2020 and donated enough Cravendale milk to fill more than 8.5 million cereal bowls. Together they are raising awareness of the issues surrounding morning hunger to help re-write the future for the next generation.

Rachel Campbell, Arla Brand and Sustainability Director, said:

“We’re proud to partner with Magic Breakfast to not only ensure every child starts each day with the essential nutrients needed to grow and fuel learning, but to also spread happiness during the holiday period. Afterall Christmas is all about giving!”

Magic Breakfast’s Magic Maker programme has been running for several years seeing some of the charity’s partners get involved and delivering gifts to local schools over the holiday period.
