As Easter approaches, The Broadway Shopping Centre is gearing up to host an eggciting event for shoppers, promising a day filled with fun and creativity for the whole family.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 30th, from 11 am to 5 pm, The Broadway will host a free chocolate egg decorating workshop, delighting children with the opportunity to unleash their artistic flair. Young participants will have the choice to adorn milk chocolate eggs with a variety of sweet treats and colourful icing, transforming them into deliciously decorated masterpieces.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Following the egg decorating extravaganza, children can embark on an Easter AR trail around the centre, adding an interactive twist to the holiday festivities. Six charming characters will be cunningly concealed in store windows, awaiting discovery by eager young adventurers. Participants simply need to complete the trail forms, and with a scan of the QR code on each poster, watch as the Easter characters spring to life. Upon successfully uncovering all six characters, children can claim their well-deserved Easter egg prize by presenting their completed trail form at The Hub. The trail will run from March 30th to April 7th, ensuring ample opportunity for families to join in the fun.
Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, expressed his anticipation for the upcoming event, stating: “We can’t wait to welcome families to The Broadway this Easter. Our workshop-style events are always a hit, as children love getting hands-on with the activities and having something special to take home afterward.”
For families eager to partake in the festivities, a member of staff will lead guided tours around the trail on Saturday, March 30th, followed by the opportunity for families to explore the trail at their own pace.
