Hisense is hosting a unique World Cup watch party at Elland Road later this month, bringing together cutting-edge screen technology and two familiar football faces.
The electronics giant, which is an official partner for both the FIFA World Cup 2026 and Leeds United, will open the doors to the event on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026 to screen England’s tournament clash against Ghana. Taking place inside the premium Hisense Leeds Lounge on the second floor of the East Stand, the evening will feature a massive nine-metre by two-metre display screen alongside a multi-screen setup showcasing the brand’s latest MiniLED TVs and refrigeration tech.
The headline draw for local fans is the return of former Leeds United duo Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips. The pair will be joining LUTV presenter Emma Jones for a live pre-match Q&A, score predictions, half-time analysis, and interactive games, before sticking around after the final whistle for autograph and photo opportunities.

Doors open at 6:30 pm ahead of the 9 pm kick off, which is being broadcast live from Boston. Guests will be served a World Cup themed food menu alongside welcome drinks, and the venue will run a fully cashless bar throughout the night.
Two tiers of tickets have gone on sale for the event. Standard entry is priced at £25 per head and includes a welcome drink and food, while VIP tickets are available for £49.50, adding premium seating and a full complimentary drinks package to the deal.
Arun Bhatoye, Head of Marketing at Hisense UK, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome football fans to Elland Road for what promises to be a fantastic FIFA World Cup 2026 experience. Having Patrick and Kalvin returning to Elland Road to share their insight and England analysis will make the evening even more special, especially with Emma hosting the show. Combined with world-class audio-visual technology and an incredible atmosphere, this is set to be a memorable event – now we just need England to get the result!”
