After the success of the April beer festival, North Brewing will welcome its September edition of Springwell Sessions this weekend, with another amazing line-up of breweries confirmed to attend the 3-day event.
Serving up alongside street food, DJs, live music, talks and tastings, they will be taking over North Brewing’s 21,000 sq ft facility which will see 2,500 people attend over 4 sessions. The event, which is family and dog-friendly, is celebrating its third edition and, once again, ticket holders will receive a complimentary North Brewing glass on entry which they can then take around the guest brewers to sample beers from around the world.
This September, North has once again confirmed an incredible line +-up of UK breweries including local Leeds favourites Northern Monk and industry legends Verdant Brewing Co, as well as six international breweries which include Frontaal Brewing Co from the Netherlands and Pohjala from Estonia. All 14 breweries will be serving two beers each, so as well as enjoying North’s extensive tap list, guests will be able to sample 28 different beers using tokens purchased on the day.
In addition to the very best Sessionable Pales, IPAs and experimental releases, there will be natural wines from Bottle Chop and an impressive cocktail and coffee menu; not to mention their famous tequila verdita!
With the breweries taking over their impressive brew hall floor and flooding out onto their taproom, the beer garden will be set up with a stretch tent and festoon lighting offering an authentic festival feel, without the wellies!
It wouldn’t be a festival without music which is why North have lined up a weekend of Live DJs including Herbie Underwood, Toby Brem Wilson and Joe Mills, plus more, with live music from New York Brass Band on the Saturday evening. And for those wanting to know more about what’s in their glass, there will be a range of talks and tastings during each session from North’s Co-founders, brewers and artists.
