The recently opened Grand Pacific all-day restaurant and bar is a ‘21st century reincarnation of golden age opulence’ serving flavours from far-flung lands fused together with quintessential British classics…. including a brunch offer unlike anything else found in the city.
After months of anticipation, The Queens Hotel in Leeds opened its doors on Monday 14th June after a £16 million refurbishment. The transformation includes a partnership with Living Ventures to bring its ‘Raffles inspired’ restaurant and bar, Grand Pacific, to Leeds. The 100-cover restaurant, bar, café and dining room will offer a sumptuous interior with a menu that pays ‘homage to the golden age of high society’ along with a unique and exotic dining experience, poised to be one of Leeds’ most iconic venues.
As part of its indulgent all-day menu, Grand Pacific is shaking up the Leeds brunch scene, making the restaurant the go-to destination in the city. Served Saturday and Sundays between 10am and 2pm, the menu includes signature dishes such as Duck Benedict, Teriyaki Steak Sandwich or ‘The Full Skillet’, a take on a Full English Breakfast, as well as traditional brunch staples such as Florentine Eggs Benedict, Croque Monsieur and Breakfast Fruit Pancakes. Dishes start from £7.50 and are all exclusive to Grand Pacific Leeds.
As for drinks, guests can peruse an extensive selection of classic brunch cocktails, such as the Grand Pacific Bloody Mary, Mimosa or Paloma or even a selection of smoothies including refreshing pineapple & mint. If coffee is on the agenda, Grand Pacific offers an enviable selection of brews including its famed ‘Organic Superfood Lattes’ made with oat milk and sweetened with coconut blossom nectar. Guests can also choose from Golden Turmeric, Beetroot, Matcha Green Tea, Butterfly Plea or Rooibos Tea.
Paul Moran, Managing Director of Living Ventures, comments: “An indulgent, leisurely brunch is one of life’s great pleasures and something that has been really missed during lockdown. We’re looking forward to bringing a delicious brunch, that is traditional with a bit of a twist, along with some great coffee and cocktails to the people of Leeds.”
